A few days ago, Lexus officially announced that it will bring two concept cars, LF-ZL and LF-ZC, at the Beijing Auto Show, which will make their Chinese debut and will convey Lexus’s electrification vision.

The Lexus LF-ZL concept was unveiled at the 2023 Tokyo Motor Show and will serve as a preview of the next-generation all-electric flagship concept model, and Lexus said that the production model will be released in 2026. The LF-ZL will be a flagship model with a new modular body structure with cutting-edge production technology.

In terms of appearance, the design of the Lexus LF-ZL concept car is more daring, and the family design of the spindle grille has become conceptual, which has been replaced by a front face without a center grille, but the headlights and front surround still outline the classic shape. In terms of model size, the length, width and height of the Lexus LF-ZL are 5300/2020/1700mm, and the wheelbase is 3350mm.

The LF-ZC Concept was also unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show last October, and from the outside, the front end of the car is wide and flat, which can bring a low drag coefficient. V-shaped LED light strips are used on both sides of the front of the car, and the shape is very sharp, making the whole front of the car look very sci-fi. The roof of the car is outlined with a number of sharp lines with rich texture, highlighting the tough temperament of the vehicle shape.

The rear of the car is more exaggerated, and Lexus has previously emphasized that the car’s strong aerodynamic design brings benefits to performance and efficiency. The interior design adopts the “Bamboo CMF (Color, Material, Finish) concept”, and the digital intelligent cockpit has a situational recognition function to enhance the user’s immersive driving experience. Arene OS, the new integrated software operating system, supports continuous upgrades, including advanced security technologies and multimedia features.
