On April 25, during the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, Hongqi EHS7, a medium and large pure electric SUV, was officially unveiled. The new car is equipped with the latest logo of Hongqi New Energy’s sub-brand, adopts the latest family design, and the overall shape is highly similar to the concept car. After the listing in the future, it will form a dual flagship of the Hongqi new energy brand with EH7.
The exterior part, Hongqi EHS7 is designed with natural and smart aesthetics, the wide front looks more powerful than EH7, the headlight groups on both sides are still 7 shapes are very eye-catching, and the interior uses LED light sources, which not only support dynamic light effects, but also have good recognition after lighting.
The side lines of the new car are simple and smooth, basically without too many complicated lines, and the hidden door handles and large wheels also make the overall fashion of the Hongqi EHS7 greatly improved. As for the rear, the EHS7’s continuous taillights are quite eye-catching, and the styling on the sides also echoes the headlights, while the bottom surround is also blacked-out for a sporty look.
As for the interior, the new car also follows the simple technology style popular with new energy vehicles, with a better sense of immersion in the enveloping cockpit, and the overall style is also highly similar to that of the EH7. The 6-inch instrument, the 15.5-inch central control screen and the AR-HUD form a “three-screen linkage” effect. At the same time, the new car also has a shift knob that can be raised and lowered, and the interior is of high quality.
The Hongqi EHS7 is built on an 800V platform and is equipped with a ternary lithium battery pack, which will be available in two versions: single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive. The maximum output of a single motor is 253kW, and the maximum output of the dual-motor version is 455kW.
