At the beginning of April, SAIC-GM-Wuling announced its sales results for March 2024: overall sales reached 129,014 units, up 17.1% year-on-year. This included 42,956 passenger cars (92% of which were new energy vehicles) and 68,893 commercial vehicles. The three popular models sold 11,190 units, the Wuling Binguo family sold 12,694 units, and the Hongguang MINI EV family sold a total of 16,046 units. The Wuling Binguo series quickly captured the hearts of a large number of female consumers with its soft lines and nostalgic design.

From the point of view of appearance, Wuling Binguo attracts attention with its small and delicate style. The front end of the body has a closed design and lacks a traditional grille. The headlights are rounded, with Wuling’s signature silver logo, and the shape is quite playful. The body size is compact, the length, width and height are 3950x1708x1580mm, and the wheelbase is 2560mm.

In terms of interior, the whole car adopts a minimalist design, and the circular elements not only create a pleasant atmosphere, but also enhance the youthful vitality of the vehicle. It is equipped with a high-definition full LCD instrument cluster and a touchscreen center console to greatly enhance the driving experience. While there are no traditional armrests in the front, this also frees up more space. In terms of configuration, this car integrates practical functions such as smartphone remote control, vanity mirror, Bluetooth phone, reversing camera, tire pressure monitoring and airbags.

In terms of passenger space, Wuling Binguo offers a spacious five-door, four-seat layout, which is superior to other entry-level electric vehicles. The second row is spacious and convenient.

In terms of power performance, Binguo is equipped with a 41 horsepower electric motor, providing a range of 203 km, and is equipped with a 17.3 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. With a top speed of up to 100 km/h, a single electric motor is enough for daily commutes and high-speed driving. However, it’s worth noting that the model only supports slow charging, with a charging time of up to 5.5 hours, which may be something that potential users need to consider.

To sum up, Wuling Binguo has become the best choice for urban travel with its stylish design and reasonable price.
