The 2024 Haval Raptor continues the exterior design of the current model, adding two new exterior colors: Storm Yellow and Ink Jiangnan Grey, providing users with a wider range of choices. The tire width of the car has been increased from 245 millimeters to two options: 255 millimeters and 265 millimeters. The tire thickness has been increased by 21 millimeters, which also brings an increase in vehicle height.
In terms of size, the length, width, and height of the 2024 Haval Raptor are 4800/1950/1843 millimeters, respectively. Compared with the current model, the length remains unchanged, with a width increase of 34 millimeters and a height increase of 21 millimeters. The wheelbase remains unchanged at 2738 millimeters. The car also offers optional AT tires, with specifications of 265/60 R18.
In terms of passability, the 2024 Haval Raptor has also been upgraded, equipped with 255/60 R19 tires, with an approach angle of 25 degrees, a departure angle of 32 degrees, a longitudinal passing angle of 20.1 degrees, a minimum ground clearance of 210 millimeters, and a wading depth of 580 millimeters. As a reference, the current model has an approach angle of 24 degrees, a departure angle of 30 degrees, a longitudinal passing angle of 19 degrees, a minimum ground clearance of 200 millimeters, and a wading depth of 560 millimeters.
The 2024 Haval Raptor has added a black rice interior, which is also the first time the car has offered a light colored interior color selection. However, in terms of interior layout and configuration, the car has not undergone any changes. In addition, Haval officially stated that the interior of the 2024 Raptors adopts a new type of low crystalline PP material. The 2024 Haval Raptor will come standard with 11 auxiliary driving sensors and offer optional L2+level auxiliary driving functions with 26 sensors, which can achieve functions such as NOH high-speed navigation assistance.
The 2024 Haval Raptor remains unchanged in terms of power and is still equipped with a plug-in hybrid system consisting of a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine and front and rear dual motors. The 1.5-liter turbocharged engine has a maximum power of 123 kilowatts and a peak torque of 243 Newton meters; The maximum power of the front and rear dual motors are 70 kW and 150 kW respectively, and the peak torque is 160 N · m and 350 N · m, respectively.
In terms of battery life, the 2024 Raptors will continue to offer two specifications of lithium iron phosphate batteries, 19.09 kWh and 27.54 kWh, corresponding to NEDC pure electric range of 102 km and 145 km respectively (WLTC pure electric range of 81 km and 115 km respectively). The peak charging power of DC fast charging is 33 kW and 41 kW respectively, and the entire series supports 3.3 kW DC fast charging power.
