Recently, GAC Trumpchi launched the 2024 Shadow Leopard model, with a total of 4 models, and the new car is an annual facelift model, although the appearance has not been significantly upgraded, but the configuration has been upgraded by as many as 12 equipment.
Because it is an annual facelift, the 2024 Shadow Leopard model is basically the same as the old model in terms of design. However, judging from the current GAC Trumpchi Shadow Leopard shape, the new car has three sets of front faces, of which there are two ordinary versions, and the details are mainly reflected in the heat dissipation holes below and on both sides of the middle machine model, and the third shape is the more capable R-style version of the model.
To echo this front end, the R-style version also has sportier multi-spoke wheels. Performance-oriented side skirts, an exaggerated rear diffuser, a quad exhaust and a large spoiler give the car a strong performance airfeel. It is worth mentioning that the new model also adds superstar silver paint, and the front shovel of the R series models is blackened to further enhance the texture and style of the vehicle.
In addition, the 2024 Shadow Leopard is also equipped with Michelin PS4 and PS5 series tires, with the PS4 series being 225/45 ZR18 and the PS5 series being 245/35 ZR19. As a facelifted model, the new car is still 4700 (4753)/1850/1432 mm in length, width and height, with a wheelbase of 2736 mm, positioning it as an A-class compact sedan.
In terms of interior, the new Shadow Leopard S adds a white and blue color scheme and a new interior texture, while the Shadow Leopard R-style and Shadow Leopard S also add optional limited speed all-black suede interior, further creating a strong sporty atmosphere of the Shadow Leopard.
In terms of configuration, the new car machine system is equipped with a stronger chip, and the whole system is equipped with a 7-inch instrument cluster as standard. It is worth mentioning that the 2024 Shadow Leopard comes standard with Carplay, which can achieve seamless connection with mobile phones, and the R-Style also adds a front seat ventilation function.
In terms of power, the 2024 Shadow Leopard will continue to have three powertrains: 1.5T, 2.0T and 2.0L petrol-electric hybrids, of which 1.5T is the entry-level model, with a maximum power of 130 kW and a maximum of 270 Nm, matched with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission, while the 2.0T engine has a maximum power of 195 kW and a maximum torque of 400 Nm, matched with an 8AT gearbox, while the 2.0L diesel-electric hybrid model has an official WLTC combined fuel consumption of 4.33 liters/100 km.
In addition, the 2024 Shadow Leopard R PRO and R MAX further enhance the rigidity of the body and improve driving safety by adding a balance bar at the top of the front overhang.
