With the increasing maturity of the electric vehicle market, another new model under the BYD brand, the Hiace 07EV, will be officially launched on May 10. Positioned as a new mid-size electric SUV, the new model will be based on BYD’s new e-platform 3.0 EVO platform, and will be available in 2WD and 4WD versions.

In terms of exterior details, the Hiace 07EV adopts a streamlined design, with smooth and elegant body lines. At the front, the sharp LED headlights and daytime running lights form a strong visual impact, while the design of the grille also fully considers aerodynamic performance. On the side of the body, the multi-spoke wheels complement the smooth waistline, showing the car’s dynamism and stability. At the rear, the simple lines outline the full tail contour, and the overall shape is harmonious and unified.

In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the Hiace 07EV are 4830mm, 1925mm and 1620mm respectively, and the wheelbase has reached 2930mm, adopting a 2+3 five-seat layout, which not only ensures the spacious and comfortable interior space, but also provides passengers with a more stable driving experience.

In terms of interior, the Hiace 07EV is also refined, with a reasonable layout of the center console, equipped with a full LCD instrument cluster and a floating central control screen, and will be built into BYD’s latest DiLink car machine system, which can provide passengers with a wealth of entertainment and information services. The seat is ergonomically designed to provide comfortable support for long periods of time. At the same time, the new car will also be equipped with BYD’s latest “Eye of the Gods” high-end intelligent driving system.

In terms of power, the Hiace 07EV offers two power options: single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor four-wheel drive. Among them, the single-motor version provides two power options of 170kW and 230kW, while the dual-motor four-wheel drive version has a maximum power of 160kW and 230kW for the front and rear motors, respectively, with a total electric motor power of 390kW and a total torque of 530Nm, and the official acceleration to 100 km/h takes only 3.8 seconds. Such a power configuration makes the Hiace 07EV excellent in power performance and can meet the needs of different consumers.

In terms of range, the Hiace 07EV is expected to have a range of 550 km and 610 km respectively for the single-motor version, while the all-wheel drive version is equipped with an 82.5 kWh battery pack for a range of 550 km.
