Exclusively for the Tibetan market, the calorie plateau version made by BAIC was launched

Recently, BAIC’s pickup truck model, BAIC Made Calorie Plateau Edition, was launched. The car is positioned as a mid-size pickup truck and will be available in two models. It is reported that the new car is exclusively for the Tibetan market.
Calorie was officially launched at the end of 2022, and in 2023, Calorie launched an 8AT automatic pickup product.

The exterior of the Plateau Edition follows the design of the previous model. At the front, there is a large-mouth grille with a hollowed-out interior and chrome plating. The lower bracket is a three-stage design, with deflectors on both sides and air intakes in the middle.
The lower part of the door uses a concave style, and in terms of body size, the length, width and height of the plateau version of the standard axle are 5270/1900/1860 (1905) mm, the wheelbase is 3160 mm, and the cargo box is 1595/1540/545 mm in length, width and height respectively. The plateau version has a long axis length, width and height of 5520/1900/1860 (1905) mm, a wheelbase of 3410 mm, and a cargo box length, width and height of 1845/1540/545 mm.
In terms of tires, the highland version is equipped with 16-inch rims and 235/70 R16 tires. At the rear, the roof is designed with a ducktail and the taillights are split. The exhaust has a hidden design.

In the interior part, the central control adopts a full LCD instrument cluster and a 7-inch central control screen. In terms of equipment, the new car is equipped with the main driver’s seat airbag, tire pressure monitoring, reversing radar, reversing camera, remote control key, plastic steering wheel, fabric seats, USB charging port, 2-speaker speakers, halogen headlights, turn assist lights, halogen fog lamps, front and rear power windows, manual anti-glare in the interior mirrors and manual air conditioning.

As for the long-axle model of the plateau version, only the length, wheelbase and cargo box length have been increased, and the rest of the configuration is the same as the standard axle of the plateau version.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 2.0-liter gasoline naturally aspirated engine with a maximum power of 106 kW and a peak torque of 200 Nm.
