On April 25, at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show, Hongqi HQ9 PHEV was officially launched, with a total of 6 models, the new car will be equipped with a 2.0T engine + front and rear dual motor plug-in hybrid system, 0-100km/h acceleration time of 8.3 seconds, fuel consumption of 2.4L/100km.

In addition, at the press conference, the official also teased a four-seater high-end custom version of the model, which can be seen to use a high roof design to improve the interior space, while the front face and wheels have also been upgraded. Of course, the biggest improvement is still in the car, in addition to the seat function, it is also equipped with a “large color TV” and so on.

 

In terms of appearance, the HQ9 PHEV continues the family-style design language of the gasoline version of the model, with a waterfall front face that is very in line with the popular elements of the current MPV.

Hongqi’s classic red line logo is embedded in the center of the engine compartment cover and extends to the front grille, making the new car have a very powerful aura. In addition, the front bumper of the new car is also embedded on both sides of the high and low beam clusters, and the split headlight design also makes the front face of the new car more full.

On the side of the body, the new car adopts a double-sided electric side sliding door design, and the new car has a circle of chrome decorative strips inlaid on the window and door frames, with the hidden B-pillar and C-pillar design and the segmented D-pillar shape, so that the new car has the visual effect of a floating roof. In addition, the new car is equipped with new two-tone multi-spoke wheels, which give the new car a more imposing look. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 5222/2005/1935mm, and the wheelbase is 3200mm.

In terms of power, the HQ9 PHEV is equipped with a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system, of which the 2.0T engine has a maximum power of 120 kilowatts, the new car is equipped with dual motors at the front and rear, with a four-wheel drive system, and the new car is equipped with a ternary lithium battery from CATL, with a maximum comprehensive power of 210kW, a maximum torque of 440N·m, a 0-100km/h acceleration time of 8.3 seconds, and a fuel consumption of 2.4L/100km. In addition, the vehicle will be equipped with a Level 2 autonomous driving system.
